Thank you for visiting our news site. We have been trying to keep you up-to-date with news that matters to our lives and livelihoods, during these difficult times. Our effort has always been to encourage and enable wide dissemination of news that we consider is in public interest. To this end, we have extended free trial periods of our digital offerings. However, we have a request for those of you who can afford to subscribe: please do so. As we fight disinformation and misinformation, and keep apace with the happenings, we need to commit greater resources to our news gathering operations. The Hindu, India's national newspaper since 1878, is published by THG Publishing Private Limited, Chennai, India. The English language daily is best described as classic yet contemporary. It is known for the high quality of its journalism and excellent presentation. The newspaper is printed at 18 cities in India.

Eleven editions of the newspaper - Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada, Kochi, Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram & Mumbai - are available in digital form.

They are available for viewing at 5 a.m., Indian Standard Time (IST) every day.

The e-Paper has been developed by Summit Information Technologies Ltd. using state-of-the-art technology and offering responsive, high resolution and versatile features.

Whole pages, articles, photographs and other images can be viewed in .pdf and .jpg format, and articles can also be read as text. You can make use of the Internet's powerful feature - search. The e-Paper offers you search in several forms: You can look for something specific using the search engine. You can also save stories in your areas of interest for viewing later. You can save articles for future reference and share them with your friends.

The site offers 60 days back issues of the digital editions of The Hindu.
